A new voice.

As a non-profit literary & performing arts organization managed by and for the youth, Urban Word craved a brand that matched their energy, passion, and artistry. But their non-scalable logo, the dull, uninspiring color palette, and an outdated & structurally unorganized web site didn’t align.

This organization required a complete makeover.

So, I completed a thorough audit of Urban Word’s previous website; re-organized content; established a new brand identity; created clear calls to action for donors and educational partners; and visually celebrated the young students as an active community of performing artists.

All of which resulted in a fresher, cleaner and strategically clear 32+ page website, with a refreshed aesthetic and voice for Urban Word NYC that was well received by their donors, corporate & educational partners, and youth participants.
